The 12-hour competition will be filmed inside The Box on September 13
Ministry of Sound has announced Boxed In, a new live-streamed DJ competition designed to discover and platform the next generation of DJ talent.
The competition will be filmed inside The Box, the newly renovated main room of Ministry of Sound’s nightclub, on September 13, and livestreamed on Twitch.
Six emerging DJs will compete against each other over 12 hours, with six established mentor DJs – Mak10, Sam Divine, G33 (Girls Don’t Sync), Fish 56 Octagon, Jakkob and Sian Owen – guiding them through a series of challenges.
The audience controls the outcome via live voting and real-time reactions.
The winner receives a Ministry of Sound residency that includes global and club shows, alongside £25,000 worth of equipment, studio time and artist development.
