Nigerian artists ONX and Scottyolorin have released their first joint project, ‘Swag City,’ a two-track release that channels the ambition and creative energy of Lagos‘ underground music scene.
The project was recorded after ONX returned to Lagos and began working with emerging local talent. The collaboration grew out of a shared studio session between the two artists.
Producer OYB helmed ‘Purple Cup,’ a track that captures the confidence and late-night drive of the city’s youth. WorldRetro produced ‘StarShine,’ which delivers an uplifting message of hope and perseverance.
South African engineer Bakergothekeys mixed and mastered the release, blending polished production with the raw energy of Lagos’ alternative movement.
