Blue Frog Immersive Launches VR Concerts for Apple Vision Pro

Blue Frog Studios has released a Vision Pro application offering virtual reality versions of live performances, including spatial audio.

Between 2015 and 2016, numerous startups focused on virtual reality music experiences emerged. Companies like Vrtify, Noys, Vrsus, and Red Pill VR no longer operate. Jaunt and NextVR both raised significant funding but have since been acquired, with NextVR purchased by Apple Music Gets Smarter: iOS 26.4 Beta Introduces AI-Powered Playlist Playground. Supernatural, a fitness-focused VR application, was acquired by Meta but is no longer receiving updates. AmazeVR and Wave continue to operate, though Wave recently underwent layoffs, and MelodyVR merged with Napster.

Blue Frog Studios, known for its live-recording theatre and streaming service, now offers a Vision Pro app featuring immersive versions of its shows. Six performances have been converted to VR with spatial audio, and the company intends to add more performances on a weekly basis.

The Vision Pro, which has a starting price of $3,499 in the United States, is anticipated to see continued development under Apple’s incoming CEO, who has described the device as “an extraordinary product” and indicated that its development is in its early stages.

The Blue Frog Immersive app caters to a limited audience due to the cost and niche nature of the Vision Pro, but represents ongoing experimentation with Spotify Q3 2025 Earnings: Growth, Innovation, and a Vision for the Future of Music’s potential within the music industry.
