IMPALA (Independent Music Companies Association) and CMU will present the next instalment of their Digital Forward webinar series on 28 May at 16:00 CET, focusing on digital marketing campaign planning and execution for independent record labels.
The session, part three of the Digital Forward guidance on digital marketing, will address campaign planning. It follows earlier sessions that examined both on-platform and off-platform strategies.
Speakers include Maya Kalev of Stones Throw Records, Stine Mühle of Clouds Hill Music, and Mark Orr of Lab Records. The discussion will cover how labels can structure campaigns, set clear objectives, allocate resources, and coordinate execution across channels.
IMPALA represents over 6,000 independent music companies across Europe. Small, medium, and self-releasing artists make up 99% of Europe’s music companies, producing 80% of all new releases and accounting for 80% of sector jobs. The association works to grow the independent music sector sustainably, return more value to artists, promote diversity and entrepreneurship, improve political access, inspire change, and increase access to finance. In 2025, IMPALA launched a new co-funded work programme as an EU cultural network.
