Lexsil, a Kenyan Afrobeat artist, and Sbahle, a South African singer-songwriter, will release a new cross-border single, ‘Shona Malanga’, this Friday. The track was produced by K Zaka and DeeStar ZA.

The announcement, shared via Lexsil’s Instagram account alongside the single’s cover artwork, circulated across social media platforms. The collaboration connects Kenya and South Africa, blending Lexsil’s Afrobeat style with Sbahle’s Afro Pop and Soul influences.
Sbahle, from Umlazi, South Africa, recently released her debut album ‘Iscoco Sam’, which fuses Afro Pop and Soul and explores themes of love, healing, resilience, and personal growth. Lexsil has built a catalogue of Afrobeat and Bongo Flava tracks, including ‘Bounce’ and ‘Remedy’, and has previously collaborated with artists from multiple countries.
‘Shona Malanga’ is scheduled for release on Friday.
