Live Nation Partners With Argentine Promoter Dale Play Live
Live Nation has expanded its presence in Latin America through a partnership with Argentine entertainment company Dale Play. The agreement involves Live Nation acquiring a majority stake in Dale Play’s live events division, Dale Play Live.
The company will maintain its existing collaboration with DF Entertainment to further develop the market for Spanish-language music.
Live Nation initially acquired a majority stake in DF Entertainment in 2018.
Federico Lauria, Founder and CEO of Dale Play, will remain in charge of the company’s creative and strategic planning.
Michael Rapino, President and CEO of Live Nation Entertainment, stated, “Buenos Aires is the second largest music market in South America and a priority for Live Nation. The addition of Dale Play complements our existing partnership with DF Entertainment and strengthens our commitment to Argentina and the growth of Spanish-language music in the region and throughout the world.”
Lauria said, “Dale Play was founded with the vision of supporting artists and building a platform that empowers them to grow locally and globally. Being partners with Live Nation represents a tremendous opportunity to continue expanding artists from Argentina and Latin America to the world.”
This move comes as Live Nation faces increasing scrutiny.
