Longview Communications Launches, Led by Former UMG, Sphere Executives

A new strategic advisory firm focused on entertainment, media, and technology has been established.

Longview Communications, a strategic advisory firm specializing in entertainment, media and technology, has begun operations. Andrew Fixmer is Founder and CEO, and Jamie Diamond is Executive Vice President.

Fixmer has over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, media strategy, and journalism, having held leadership positions at Universal Music Group, Sphere Entertainment Co., and Paramount Pictures. He previously worked as a financial journalist at Bloomberg News, earning award recognition.

Fixmer also holds a position on the board of the Jewish Institute for Television & Cinema.

Diamond’s background includes expertise in music, corporate, B2B, digital, and brand communications. She was with Universal Music Publishing Group for nearly a decade, leading global communications efforts.

During her time at Universal Music Publishing Group, she managed corporate, C-suite, and global leadership communications, as well as communication campaigns related to artist and songwriter signings, catalog acquisitions, and digital licensing deals. She also contributed to the launch and development of the nonprofit organization She Is The Music, serving as Communications Co-Chair.

Longview Communications offers counsel in areas including media and public relations, reputation management, corporate communications, executive thought leadership, launch strategy, brand campaigns, investor and stakeholder relations, litigation support, and crisis and issues management.
