Netflix and AEG Presents Announce ‘K-pop Demon Hunters’ Concert Tour
AEG Presents, the event promoter known for its work with Coachella, and Netflix are developing a world tour based on the film ‘K-pop Demon Hunters’. Currently, it remains unconfirmed whether the film’s featured girl group, HUNTR/X, will participate in the performances.
A press release reported the tour will be “a live experience that will bring elements of the two-time Oscar-winning film to life in spectacular ways.”
Specific dates and locations for the tour have not been revealed, but announcements are anticipated later in the year. A registration page is available for updates regarding the tour’s progress.
The tour was unveiled by Netflix during a presentation for prospective advertisers. During the presentation, Netflix President of Ad Sales Amy Reinhard stated the tour is planned for the following year.
Reinhard said, “Today, ‘K-pop Demon Hunters’ is still the most popular film on Netflix, and we’re really excited to announce that next year, in partnership with AEG Presents, we’re going to keep that momentum going with our very first world concert tour. The live tour is going to bring fans even closer to the characters and the music that they love, and of course, we want you to be a part of that. We’ll have more information to share about the cities later this year, so stay tuned.”
