This comes after Splice introduced a series of new AI features last month
Splice, the music creation platform, has announced a new partnership with AI company ElevenLabs to develop “next-generation AI-powered creative tools.” The exact nature of these tools has not been shared.
ElevenLabs first rose to prominence because of its AI-powered voice cloning technology.
Last year, ElevenLabs went further into music with Eleven Music, a generative AI creation platform similar to Suno.
Splice has also been heavily investing in AI recently.
Last month, Splice announced three new AI features, and before that, Splice partnered with Universal Music Group to build AI tools.
Kakul Srivastava, CEO of Splice: “In this second wave of AI in music, the creator comes first. We’re building responsible products from the ground up, and our partnership with ElevenLabs gives us access to powerful models to help shape what those experiences can be.”
Mati Staniszewski, Co-Founder of ElevenLabs: “Our models deliver studio-grade audio ready for commercial use. By embedding them into Splice’s workflow, we’ll bring these capabilities directly to the artists and creators shaping the future of music.”
