Sanders Leads Uptown Records Relaunch, Wright EVP at Legends Global

Uptown Records relaunches under Republic Collective with Danielle Price Sanders as president, while Legends Global appoints Caroline Wright as EVP of North American Venues, amid a wave of executive changes across the music business.

Uptown Records has been revived under the Republic Collective umbrella, with Danielle Price Sanders installed as President, while Legends Global has appointed Caroline Wright as Executive Vice President (EVP) of North American Venues, leading a series of high-level moves across the music industry.

Uptown Records relaunch and label appointments

The relaunched Uptown Records, operating within Republic Collective, has named Natina Nimene as EVP of Urban Audience & Artist Relations. Its initial artist roster includes G Herbo, Yung Miami, Trap Dickey, and producer ATL Jacob.

Symphonic announced four executive promotions:

  • Janette Berrios becomes Senior Vice President (SVP) of Corporate Marketing
  • Taylor Garland rises to EVP and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Lane Roney moves up to SVP of Finance
  • Ed Poston takes over as SVP, Head of Artists and Repertoire (A&R)

Triple Tigers Records and its radio promotion division AKANDO Music elevated Mackenzie Cooper to Manager of Radio Promotions and Hope Garrison to Associate Director of Marketing.

Provident Entertainment promoted Josie Hardin to Director of Digital Strategy, overseeing artists Brandon Lake and Zach Williams, and Reagan Hughes to Director of Marketing.

HEY NOW Records expanded its team with three hires: Danny Bess as SVP of Finance & Operations, Rachel Brown as Manager of Operations, and Troy Scott as Vice President (VP) of Commerce & Consumer Products.

BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville appointed Cheyana Weekley as Head of Marketing, reporting to EVP of Recorded Music JoJamie Hahr.

Live entertainment and ticketing

Legends Global named Caroline Wright EVP of North American Venues, overseeing the company’s portfolio of arenas, stadiums, theaters, and convention centers across the region. Wright previously managed operations for Bank of America Stadium at Tepper Sports & Entertainment.

TEG hired Amy Mackie as Managing Director of Ticketing, bringing 17 years of ticketing experience to the role.

Greenhouse Management appointed Matt Schneider as Tour Director. Schneider has previously worked with artists Travis Denning, Niko Moon, Jameson Rodgers, and ERNEST.

Artist management and digital partnerships

Cassie Petty has been promoted to Vice President (VP) of TKO Artist Management, where she has worked with clients including Toby Keith, Clay Walker, Jamey Johnson, and Jackson Dean.

At digital collectibles platform Serenade, Zoe Warshaw joins as senior partnerships and marketing manager, while Matt Drayton has been promoted to head of strategic partnerships.
