Symphonic Promotes Four Executives Across Marketing, A&R and Finance

Symphonic has promoted four executives to senior vice president and executive vice president positions across its marketing, A&R, and finance departments.

Symphonic, the music technology and services company, has promoted four senior leaders across its marketing, A&R (Artists and Repertoire), and finance divisions.

The promotions include Janette Berrios to SVP, Corporate Marketing; Ed Poston to SVP, Head of A&R; Taylor Garland to EVP & CFO; and Lane Roney to SVP, Finance.

Marketing and A&R Leadership

Janette Berrios, previously VP, Corporate Marketing, becomes SVP, Corporate Marketing. Based in Tampa, she reports to CEO and Founder Jorge Brea. The company credits her with driving international expansion in the UK, Europe, and APAC, and she leads the Women Empowered mentorship program and the Creative Connections networking series.

Ed Poston, who has served as Head of A&R since 2025, is elevated to SVP, Head of A&R. He oversees a global team of 36 creatives from New York and reports to Chief Creative Officer Randall Foster. His recent signings include:

Finance and Operations

Taylor Garland, CFO since 2017, is promoted to EVP & CFO. His background spans investment banking, private equity, and entrepreneurial ventures. In his expanded role, he will oversee Symphonic’s Human Resources department and Head of Strategic Partnerships Michelle Garramone, while contributing to business development and legal support.

Lane Roney, who joined Symphonic in 2021, moves from VP of Finance to SVP, Finance. He reports to Garland and is based in Tampa. Roney led internal finance efforts for the company’s Series B financing round in 2021.
