Spotify has opened artist video message uploads for Wrapped 2026 after a one-day delay. The feature lets artists address listeners through short clips during the platform’s annual listening recap.
Spotify for Artists has begun notifying artists and their teams to prepare for this year’s Wrapped.
Artist message submissions
Artists can submit vertical videos lasting 30 seconds through the uploader in their Spotify for Artists account. Every submission is reviewed, and uploading a message does not guarantee inclusion.
Last year, more than 70,000 artists submitted videos, which received hundreds of millions of views.
Fan engagement rose by nearly 20% compared with the previous year’s Wrapped, alongside increases in track saves and shares.
Expected recap dates
Based on recent release schedules, Spotify Wrapped 2026 is expected around December 3. Artists’ preparation deadlines typically fall two to three weeks before each platform’s recap launches.
Other services are also due to release their 2026 highlights roughly a week before or after the beginning of December:
- Apple Music Replay
- Amazon Music
- YouTube Music
- Deezer My Data
- Bandsintown High Notes
Millions of fans share these recaps. Artist profile preparations include refreshing photos, release information, merchandise listings and tour dates across the services’ artist portals.
Live music information
Bandsintown High Notes provides personalised live music recaps for fans and artists.
Updating concert dates through Bandsintown for Artists and checking profile connections allows show information to sync automatically to High Notes and connected services.
Those destinations include Spotify, Apple, Google, Shazam, YouTube and Amazon, among others. Concert information can also appear on an artist’s website when the Bandsintown widget is installed.
