Floating Leaf Entertainment has joined Red Light Management, giving its artists access to a worldwide management team and resources across music, touring, brand partnerships and entertainment.
Founded by Jeb Hurt and based in Austin, Texas, Floating Leaf brings a roster that includes multi-platinum artist Koe Wetzel, Kolby Cooper and Fox & Vead.
The partnership combines Floating Leaf’s management operation with the global company founded by Coran Capshaw. Hurt will continue providing hands-on management as the artists gain access to Red Light’s team and relationships.
“This is about taking what we’ve built at Floating Leaf and giving it an even bigger runway,” Hurt said.
Hurt described the partnership as a way to extend Floating Leaf’s focus on artists’ individual identities and career development through Red Light’s global resources.
For Red Light, the addition expands its presence in country and roots music. Floating Leaf gains opportunities to grow its roster and reach, drawing on Red Light’s decades of experience across genres and markets.
Ben Kline of Red Light Management cited Hurt’s relationships with his artists and said the company would provide its people, industry connections and global reach to support their careers.
Floating Leaf and its roster have continued to grow. Hurt has helped guide Wetzel’s career from his Texas breakthrough into arena performances while developing other artists on the roster.
“This isn’t about changing what Floating Leaf is,” Hurt added. “It’s about having more at our fingertips to serve the artists we believe in.”
