Spotify Expands Wrapped Feature to Include Two Decades of User Data
As part of its 20th anniversary, Spotify has launched a new iteration of its annual Wrapped feature called “Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s).”
The campaign is accessible exclusively on mobile devices within the Spotify application and allows users to review their listening history spanning the last two decades.
The feature is available in 144 markets and supports 16 languages.
Users can access the experience by searching for “Spotify 20” or “Party of the Year(s)” within the app, or by visiting Spotify 20 on a mobile browser.
The campaign includes previously unreleased data points, such as the total number of unique songs each user has listened to.
A playlist containing each user’s top 120 tracks, along with play counts, is also provided and can be saved to their library.
In addition, Spotify’s editorial team has created a series of global playlists highlighting significant musical eras, trends, and cultural moments from the past 20 years.
This launch comes at a time when new tools are being developed for artists.
Spotify has also been focusing on expanding its reach, as Spotify to Officially Launch Operations in Istanbul.
