Artists First Launches Music Division Led by Carmen Murray

Artists First has launched a new Music Division, appointing Carmen Murray as Founding Advisor to lead the company’s expansion into music, sports, and brand partnerships.

Talent management and production company Artists First has launched a new Music Division, appointing Carmen Murray as its Founding Advisor.

Murray will establish and guide the company’s music strategy, developing opportunities across music, sports, branding, intellectual property, and strategic partnerships. She will collaborate with business partner Michael Michel and Artists First management teams to create pathways for actors and athletes to engage with the music industry through business development and brand collaborations.

Murray is the Founder and Co-CEO of Title 9, a management, production, and IP company representing artists, producers, and songwriters. The impact of her advisory role on Title 9 has not been disclosed.

Over the course of her career, Murray has built partnerships with Universal Music Publishing Group, Def Jam Recordings, Atlantic Records, Republic Records, Epic Records, Motown, Warner Chappell Music, and Roc Nation.
