Duncan Smith, the booking agent whose roster includes Angine de Poitrine and MJ Lenderman, has joined global live agency ROAM as a senior agent.
Smith arrives from Earth Agency, bringing with him a client list that also features Wednesday, Getdown Services, Lime Garden and Racing Mount Pleasant. He becomes part of a ROAM lineup that represents more than 900 artists, among them Fontaines D.C., Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey and The Lumineers.
Earlier in his career, Smith held roles at agencies Pitch & Smith and Playbook Artists, and worked at Guildford’s award-winning venue The Boileroom and the Royal Albert Hall.
“Having worked with much of the ROAM team across my career, I have been a long time admirer of their stellar roster, reputation and approach to the business,” Smith said. “The company’s commitment to discovering, nurturing and developing talent from first shows to global touring is outstanding. Combining this with the singular depth of support they provide to artists on a worldwide scale, without compromising their longtime ethos, and I am in no doubt it will be a fantastic home for my artists.”
