Apple Music has increased monthly subscription prices for its Individual, Family, and Student plans in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe, citing rising licensing costs as the reason. Price adjustments in other territories are expected to follow.
In the US, the Individual plan now costs $11.99, up from $10.99. The Family plan rises to $19.99 per month from $16.99, and the Student plan is now $6.99, previously $5.99.
UK subscribers will pay £11.99 for the Individual plan, an increase from £10.99. Across Europe, the Individual plan price moved to €11.99 from €10.99.
These are the first price increases for the service since October 2022. Earlier this year, Spotify, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music also raised subscription prices in the US and other markets.
