Songwriter Aviel Calev Hirschfield has withdrawn his copyright lawsuit against Drake 11 days after filing it. Hirschfield alleged that the chorus of Drake’s track ‘Janice STFU’ was “literally identical” to a demo he wrote.

The withdrawal notice gives no reason for the decision. The dismissal was filed without prejudice, allowing Hirschfield to bring the lawsuit again.
