Ed Sheeran is set to sign with Interscope Records, reuniting with CEO John Janick, while Zara Larsson has joined RCA Records in a week of notable artist signings across labels and management.
Ed Sheeran
Sheeran’s move follows his departure from Warner Music Group in May, ending a 15-year tenure that produced eight albums and global hits including “Shape of You” and “Perfect.” At Interscope, part of Universal Music Group, he will be reunited with Janick, who previously worked with Sheeran during his time at Warner’s Elektra Records. The Interscope roster also includes Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar.
Zara Larsson
The Swedish pop artist moves from Epic Records, her label home since 2013, in an internal shift within Sony Music. The signing follows her fifth album Midnight Sun, whose title track spent 23 weeks atop Billboard‘s Pop Airplay chart, and a viral resurgence of “Lush Life” on TikTok. Larsson was recently named Billboard‘s Women in Music Breakthrough for 2026.
Snow Patrol
The band has signed a global recording deal with BMG, expanding a relationship that already covers publishing for members Gary Lightbody and Nathan Connolly. The GRAMMY-nominated group launched the partnership with “These Alarms,” a collaboration with Kylie Minogue originally written for 2024’s UK No. 1 album The Forest Is the Path. BMG’s UK roster includes Lily Allen, Louis Tomlinson, Johnny Marr, MARINA, The Script, Simple Minds, Suede, and Rick Astley.
Geese
The Brooklyn rock band and frontman Cameron Winter have signed with Tyler Richman and Anna Spaulding of weekday mgmt for both the group and Winter’s solo work. They were previously with Willie Upbin of No Truce. The signing follows a period that included a Saturday Night Live musical guest slot, performances at Coachella and Primavera Sound, and the release of their third album Getting Killed. The group won four Libera Awards, including record of the year, and is considered a top contender for Best New Artist at the upcoming GRAMMY Awards. A second leg of their tour is scheduled for this fall.
Restless Road
The country trio, comprising Zach Beeken, Garrett Nichols, and Colton Pack, has signed with EMPIRE Nashville, with EVP Jen Way leading the partnership. Previously signed to Sony Music Nashville, the group debuts on the label with the single “Forever A Go,” out this Friday. Teaser content for the track has generated over 10 million views and 250,000 likes.
Ari Lennox
The R&B singer-songwriter has signed with Joseph Harris and Akin Aliu of CAA for booking representation. Lennox parted ways with Dreamville Records in 2025 and released her third studio album Vacancy in January via Interscope. She recently completed a 31-city North American tour with support from Lekan and PHABO, and has added an Austin City Limits taping to her schedule, set to stream worldwide.
