A new platform called Indigo has entered public beta, aiming to shift music fandom from passive consumption to active community participation. The launch is anchored by a collaboration with rapper, producer, and filmmaker IDK.

Co-founded by Demi Weitz, previously co-founder of the virtual event series Quarantunes, alongside Luc Giraud and Saskia Giraud, Indigo provides a web-based space where artists can distribute unreleased tracks, voice memos, behind-the-scenes footage, and exclusive experiences.

  • Stream exclusive content
  • Unlock access to special material
  • Support artists through microtransactions
  • Gift content to friends

The platform also offers analytics to help artists identify and deepen relationships with their most engaged supporters. A mobile application with expanded functionality is planned for release later this summer.

IDK’s Indigo community will gain early access to his June 20 event, Son De L’Amour (Sound of Love), via an exclusive RSVP on the platform. Additional artist-led conversations and content will be published throughout the week.

“Indigo is founded on the belief that the music industry is moving from volume to depth. For years, artists have been measured by reach; we believe the future will be shaped by the strength of the communities forming around their work. Our mission is to give artists the infrastructure to grow and invest in those communities. .idk. has long approached music as something larger than music itself, and that philosophy closely reflects the future we’re building toward.”
