Miami Beach music venue Medium Cool will permanently close its doors on August 22, the operators confirmed in a July 19 Instagram post.
Located in the basement of the Gale hotel, the space was launched in 2023 by Miami hospitality figures Dan Binkiewicz, David Martinez, Josh Harris, and Naren Young. It quickly became a destination for local and international electronic music, hosting resident DJs Mike Deuce and Pazmal alongside guests such as Nabihaq Iqbal, and served as a gathering point during Miami Music Week each March.
“After nearly four wonderful years, we are on the hunt for a new home,” the venue’s statement read. “That said we have the whole month of August to enjoy jazz, cocktails, conversation and dancing under the disco ball together.”
“Proud to be a part of this crew, proud of this layer, and proud Miami accepted us,” co-founder Josh Wagner added.
