Sound Rink has acquired a stake in Fan Club Pro and will use its platform to manage fan clubs for artists. The service extends Sound Rink’s existing VIP package and pre-sale offerings.

Sound Rink will set up and operate the clubs, including fan customer service. It will support ongoing engagement through posts, push notifications and email, provide reports on member activity, and advise artists on exclusive content, members-only opportunities and pre-sales.

Revenue from those offerings will go directly to artists through a Stripe integration. Sound Rink also plans to launch a standalone fan club product that anyone can use.

Cody DeLong, co-founder of Fan Club Pro and co-founder and CEO of Sound Rink, said the companies recently moved Dashboard Confessional’s Saints & Sailors fan club onto Fan Club Pro. Sound Rink has managed the club for years.
