French electronic duo Polo & Pan have expanded their management team, and Welsh pop-punk band Neck Deep have signed with Future History Management, among a week of new artist, publishing and agency deals.
Other moves involve electronic musician Surf Mesa, indie-folk artist Adam Melchor and Dutch DJ Natte Visstick.
Management signings
Polo & Pan have linked with JET Management founders Tyler Goldberg and John Scholz, and DBNR founder Alexander Vandriessche. The duo, made up of Alexandre Grynszpan and Paul Armand-Delille, is known for a sound blending house, tropical electronic and pop and is touring North America and Europe in support of their third studio album 22:22, released early last year.
Future History Management has added Neck Deep to its management roster. Founder Ryan Richards and president of US operations Jameson Roper will manage the Wrexham-based band. Roper described the signing as a passion project, saying it continues the firm’s “mission to work with the best in class at every turn.” Neck Deep join a roster that includes Sleep Token, Bilmuri, Wage War and Holding Absence.
Surf Mesa has signed with management company rare society. Founder Nick Groff, previously SVP of A&R (artists and repertoire) at Interscope and general manager of Geffen Records, and manager Michele Ronzon will represent the Seattle-born artist. Surf Mesa gained international attention in 2019 with the single ILY (I Love You Baby), which has more than 1 billion streams on Spotify and led to a major label deal with Astralwerks and Universal.
Label and publishing moves
The Drums, the New York-based indie rock project of Johnny Pierce, has launched the label Abysmal Records. Named after Pierce’s 2017 album Abysmal Thoughts, the label is intended as a home for collaboration, experimentation and emerging artists he supports. The Drums’ first release on the label is the single It Didn’t Matter, featuring Iranian American alternative artist Mareux. It is Pierce’s first new music in two years, following the 2024 project Jonny.
Adam Melchor has signed a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music. The Good Boy Records / R&R client released the project The Diary of Living last year and has continued his Lullaby Hotline series, in which he sends a new song each week to fans who text his number.
Agency representation
WME (William Morris Endeavor) will represent Dutch DJ and producer Natte Visstick in Australia, Asia, North America and South America. Bailey Greenwood is the responsible agent. Visstick’s sound blends hard techno, jumpstyle and industrial chaos with internet culture. He gained attention after his track CRUSH was featured in the Nicole Kidman film Babygirl.
