Asake’s latest album “M$NEY” maintained its grip on Nigeria’s leading streaming platforms this week, while his 2023 release “Work of Art” passed a significant longevity milestone on Spotify NG.
Apple Music Nigeria
“M$NEY” logged its 11th consecutive week at No. 1 on the NG Apple Music albums chart, extending its record as the longest-running chart-topper of 2026. “Work of Art” spent its 94th week inside the platform’s Top 10, a feat surpassed only by Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” (107 weeks).
Spotify Nigeria
On the Spotify NG weekly albums chart, “M$NEY” held at No. 1 for an 11th week. Omah Lay’s “Clarity Of Mind” sat at No. 2, with “Work of Art” at No. 3. “Work of Art” also became only the second album in history to reach 160 weeks in the Spotify NG Top 10, trailing only Asake’s own “Mr Money with the Vibe.”
Audiomack
“M$NEY” led the Audiomack albums chart, followed by Seyi Vibez’s “FUJI MOTO” at No. 2 and FOLA’s “catharsis” at No. 3. Separately, the collaborative EP “Real Vol.1” by Wizkid and Asake surpassed Omah Lay’s “Clarity of Mind” to become the second most-streamed 2026 Nigerian project on the platform, with 124 million streams against 123.5 million.
Boomplay
“M$NEY” also topped the Boomplay weekly albums chart. Omah Lay’s “Clarity Of Mind” placed second, and Evado’s “Promise Land” entered at No. 3.
