Nigerian artist Burna Boy has set a new personal best of 53.8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, entering the platform’s top 50 global artist ranking for the first time.
The milestone, which places him at No. 50 worldwide, was fueled by the streaming success of “Dai Dai,” his collaboration with Shakira. The track has accumulated over 200 million streams on Spotify.
The track was performed during the 2026 FIFA World Cup final celebrations, where Shakira took the stage alongside Coldplay and Justin Bieber after Spain’s 1-0 victory over Argentina.
