Frontiers Label Group (FLG) has introduced NOIUS, an invite-only partnership platform for established rock, metal and alternative artists seeking global support while retaining ownership and creative control.

Multi-platinum US band X Ambassadors is the platform’s first signing. Its first single under the agreement, “Y.O.T.H.” (Year Of The Horse), arrives on October 30.

Artist partnerships and services

NOIUS is designed to combine artist independence and flexible arrangements with investment and an international team. Frontiers will work with artists and their management to develop the business around their music.

The launch forms part of Frontiers’ development as the company marks its 30th anniversary.

Frontiers outlines its approach

Serafino Perugino, president and chief executive officer of Frontiers Label Group, said:

“NOIUS comes from a very simple idea: great artists should not have to choose between self releasing and having a serious global partner behind them. The music business has changed enormously, and I believe the relationship between artists and labels has to evolve with it. With NOIUS, we want to build partnerships around the artist – giving them flexibility, creative freedom and transparency, while bringing the investment, infrastructure, marketing expertise and global reach of Frontiers Label Group.”

X Ambassadors will release through FLG Records, the company’s modern rock and alternative imprint.
