Elton John, the artist known for hits including “Rocket Man,” “Tiny Dancer,” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” has reportedly signed a seven-figure deal for a hologram residency in Las Vegas. The agreement would see a virtual performance continue after his death, according to an anonymous source.
The production is planned for the new Hard Rock resort, which is scheduled to open in late 2027. John is expected to film a live performance at Pinewood Studios outside London, with previous collaborators Dua Lipa and Kiki Dee suggested to appear alongside the hologram.
John officially retired from touring in 2023 after a career spanning more than six decades. He has previously stated that he did not want to perform as a hologram.
